BestRx Pharmacy Management Software is now integrated with Medistics’ Care Management Platform.
BestRx's integration with Medistics provides independent pharmacies with access to real-time patient and treatment information. It also creates an opportunity for them to earn additional revenue for performing many of the patient care services they’re already doing today. This includes medication therapy management, prior authorizations and patient recalls. BestRx has partnered with Medistics because we understand that true healthcare is not about just ‘managing’ diseases. It’s the ongoing process of working together to achieve better health outcomes. Like BestRx, Medistics strives to simplify the process for healthcare providers and their patients. To assist pharmacists, Medistics’ easy-to-use Care Management Platform utilizes smart pill bottle technology and other linked at-home personal care devices (blood pressure cuffs, glucose tests, etc.) to track vitals and medication usage for their Medicare patients. By doing this, pharmacies can monitor their patient’s health and treatment adherence in-real time, using a convenient online portal. The portal features a dashboard that displays the pharmacy’s patient activity, arranged by priority. Patients with higher-than-normal readings or those who have missed a dose will be displayed first. The portal also displays steps the pharmacy can take to help their patients get back on track. This allows pharmacists to quickly identify when additional actions, like medication adjustments and patient outreach, may be needed.Our integration makes things even easier, automatically pre-populating the pharmacy’s patient and prescription information in the portal.
